As a Senior Consultant, you will be a champion for solutions on the Microsoft platform with a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, design and development. In addition, you will be a strong pre-sales contributor and will be expected to lead, from a capability perspective, the pre-sales work on large scale opportunities with Avanade, Accenture and Microsoft.
From a solutions perspective, your focus will be to architect, develop, test and lead the implementation of mission critical enterprise SharePoint solutions that may also require the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Business Intelligence, SharePoint, Office 2013 and other advanced components of Microsoft technology. You will work with some of the most talented Microsoft professionals in Singapore.
You will provide professional consulting expertise on major enterprise initiative including web services, enterprise portals and mobile applications. You will employ management, technical and planning skills by participating in large projects. You will improve your abilities to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with customers. You will contribute to our vast repository of intellectual property as we employ Microsoft Technologies to create a dramatically more personal, integrated computing experience.
In addition, you will: -Take responsibility for creation of the SharePoint solutions/components for RFP responses
- Attend pre-sales meetings - build and present SharePoint demos and solution designs to Avanade customers
-Work with the customer to understand functional and business requirements and make the appropriate technology recommendations
-Contribute to managing the financial aspects of the project by providing accurate reporting and ensuring that the team works within the agreed financial guidelines
-Assist Manager in develop and maintain effective customer and user relationships, including representing Avanade at Tech Ed, Avanade Tech Summit, Remix, SharePoint User Groups and other marketing/PR activities where appropriate
-Input to hiring decisions, based on Avanade's hiring procedures
-Take responsibility for managing the career of junior Avanade team members
-Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years working experience on Microsoft technologies, experience in Lotus Notes migration to SharePoint will be added advantages.
- 3 years demonstrated experience with WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 implementations and development of custom solutions using SharePoint platform
- 5+ years demonstrated advance proficiency development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead consultants in various project work streams
- Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables
- Proven ability to understand a customer's needs
- Developed technical requirements based on business imperatives
- Ability to write quality high level and detailed design documents, communicate the vision and defend the position
- Experience with InfoPath forms and SharePoint workflows
- Experience with Enterprise Content Management domain
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server preferred
- Microsoft FAST ESP experience preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated team player that is able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
